DrySystem is an installation system to ensure that the wall is always dry and ventilated; it can be used for all kinds of facings, wall or plaster.

DrySystem is ideal both for new building projects and for renovations.
Particularly suitable for facings laid with glue, such as natural or manufactured stone, clay brick-slips, clinker, ceramic, block stone walls, facing bricks and plaster. It can be applied to all kinds of supports, brickwork, cement blocks, reinforced concrete, wood, etc.

Perfect for the covering of reinforced concrete walls contiguous to earth where it is likely or you suppose that humidity or water from the ground could reach the wall. DrySystem creates a protection for the facing by avoiding problems, such as the formations of mould, surfacing saline bloomings or the detachment of products.

DrySystem allows the outgoing of the condensation that forms inside the house and can be used to restore old walls where humidity has made the plaster crumble or where the facing has deteriorated.

Ideal for:

  • Thin natural or reconstituted stone cladding
  • Solid stone or facing brick walls
  • Facing clay brick-slips or clinker cladding
  • Ceramic or wood cladding
  • Plasters

1 - Dryvent: made from recycled plastic, with a 10 mm ribbed profile and micro-slits to allow horizontal and vertical ventilation. Pre-coupled with a breathable but water-repellent polypropylene membrane. It is lightweight and easily bendable for any type of support.
2 – Water-repellant polypropylene membrane.
3 - ZincoRete 2,5: this is the support for any type of cladding and plaster. It is made of galvanised iron and comes in 2x1 metre panels, which are easy to store and transport.
4 - Fixing plugs: they are the anchor and the support of the entire wall.
5 – B&B glue: rough coat covering the grid before the cladding is glued on.
6 - Soffio: “L” shaped wall bracket that is also made from ribbed recycled plastic like Dryvent. It is placed behind Dryvent to improve air circulation and to allow humidity and residual water to drain out.

Advantages:
• Protection of the coating against moisture and mould formation
• Ventilation between the cladding and the wall
• Long-term stability of the cladding
• Easy and quick installation

For exterior wall cladding
When cladding the exterior walls of residential buildings where wall breathability is required, the DrySystem enables the removal of condensation generated inside the building.
For the renovation of old walls
For the renovation of old walls affected by moisture, which has damaged the plaster or degraded the wall covering.

Application of DrySystem:
- Fix the Dryvent sheathing to the wall to be covered in horizontal rows (vertical grooves), with the water-repellent membrane facing outwards.

- Start from the ground and fold back the overlap skirt. Place the Soffio L-shaped elements behind Dryvent at the base of the wall, one every 50 cm.

- Continue with horizontal rows, overlapping each row over the one below. Apply Zincorete above the sheathing using the provided fixing plugs.

- Spread a layer of B&B Special Adhesive on the metal grid to create the fixing support for the final cladding.
